As Vice President for Strategic Energy Initiatives at Paragon Business Solutions, Inc., Angela Rolufs leads Paragon’s resiliency planning and energy technology consulting services. Angela is the former Executive Director of the Missouri University of Science and Technology (S&T) Microgrid Industrial Consortium and the former Director of the S&T Center for Sustainability. In these positions, Angela led multiple renewable energy, microgrid, electric vehicle, and sustainable infrastructure projects. Before joining Missouri S&T, Angela was employed by the U.S. Army as an engineering manager at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. As Planning Division Chief, she delivered Fort Leonard Wood’s annual Military Construction (MILCON) program in collaboration with the Kansas City District of the US Army Corps of Engineers. She holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Management from Missouri S&T. She serves on the boards of the Leonard Wood Institute and the Sustainable Ozarks Partnership, and is a founding board member of the Friendship School Foundation – a foundation focused on advancing sustainability in the craft beverage industry. Angela served on the Governor’s Steering Committee for the Missouri Comprehensive State Energy Plan and was a consultant member of the 2009-2010 Air Force Scientific Advisory Board for their study on Alternative Energy for U.S. Air Force Bases.
