BCI’s member committees are the driving force behind our work on behalf of the industry. These Committees are responsible for establishing BCI standards and work products, and for guiding the association’s work.

Help Shape the Future Work of BCI

Each fall, Battery Council International holds an exclusive leadership retreat to discuss the association’s priorities across key work areas for the following year. This year’s Committee Week gathering takes place October 13-15 in Chicago at the Hilton Chicago O’Hare Airport. For those who don’t have time to visit the city, meetings will be located conveniently at the airport to allow for quick and easy access to flights.

As a special benefit to our Committee members, BCI will also host a photographer onsite to provide professional portraits – free of charge, and for your personal use! We’ll provide more details closer to the event about how to schedule times with our photographer, along with resources to help you refresh your LinkedIn page with the new photos… but make sure you get your salon visit booked and take your best outfit to the cleaners so you can make the most of this exclusive Committee Week opportunity!

Membership in BCI Committees is open to staff employed by BCI member firms, and there is no cost to participate in these sessions. The only requirement is that you must be a member of a relevant committee before the event to be included in the discussions.

To do so, please email info@batterycouncil.org so we can update your information and formally add you to relevant BCI workstreams.
