BCI Foundation

In recognition of BCI’s 100th anniversary as the leading trade association for the energy storage industry, Battery Council International has established the BCI Foundation – a separate charitable organization dedicated to supporting the education of next generation of industry leaders and other charitable activities in our communities.

The BCI Foundation is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and will provide educational assistance to individual students either connected to the domestic battery manufacturing and recycling industry or with a specific interest in electrochemistry, as well as related automotive fields. The Foundation’s first scholarships will be awarded for the 2025-2026 school year, with applications opening in the fall of 2024.  Details on how to apply be posted in the coming months.

Donations to the BCI Foundation are tax deductible and are directed exclusively to supporting the mission of the BCI Foundation.
